Existing mining operations will be phased out within five years. However, existing healthcare facilities and repair/extension of residential houses are exempted.

The Annual Survey of Industries 2023-24 will cover statistics relating to growth, composition and structure of organized manufacturing sector comprising activities related to manufacturing processes, repair services, gas and water supply and cold storage.
