The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has reaffirmed its dedication to promoting cleanliness and efficiently addressing public grievances and concerns under its jurisdiction. The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals has its sights set also on “Special Campaign 3.0,” scheduled for October 2023.
Central Government issues Quality Control Order for 10 Chemicals
The Central Government has introduced amendments to several Quality Control Orders for various chemicals such as Morpholine, Acetic Acid, Methanol, Aniline, Pyridine, Gamma Picoline, Beta Picoline, Potassium Carbonate, Acetone and Sodium Tripolyphosphate.
Specifications for Phospho Gypsum (Granular) Manufactured in India
The specifications, notified under Clause 20 A of the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic, or Mixed) Control Order, 1985, will be applicable for a period of three years from the date of publication in the official Gazette, i.e. up to 21st July, 2026.
