MoCAFPD Issues Draft Rules On Moisture Meters For Cereal Grains And Oilseeds

These rules apply to digitally indicating automatic grain moisture meters that directly display moisture content and outline the requirements for approval of grain moisture meters used in commercial transactions of cereal grains and oilseeds. These rules address the storage of measurement data, including authenticity and integrity requirements for legally relevant external data.

Consultative Committee of Ministry of Steel meets to discuss first ever initiative to introduce labeling and branding of steel sector’s products

The Consultative Committee meeting for the Ministry of Steel was convened to discuss the progress on the first-of-its kind novel initiative by the Ministry of Steel and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to introduce branding and labelling of ‘Made-in-India’ steel products in the global market. Apart from making Indian steel products more attractive to buyers, this would also ensure standardized quality of goods.

Copper (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023

The Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and enforcing authority in respect of the copper products. Any person, who contravenes the provisions of this Order, shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016.

Medical Textiles (Quality Control) Order, 2023
