Chief Minister of Gujarat Inaugurates The GFI Tour 2024, 

Chief Minister of Gujarat commended Gujarat for showcasing responsible financial stewardship, underscoring the state’s historically minimal public debt. The financial statements for the fiscal year 2022-23 have been finalized, revealing that Gujarat’s overall debt stands at 15.17 percent of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).

Chief Minister of Gujarat Welcomes the Budget Presented by Finance Minister for The Financial Year 2024-25

The Gujarat budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 was warmly received as it resonates with Prime Minister vision of “Viksit Bharat@2047” through sustainable progress. Commending the state budget presented by the Finance Minister in the Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister underscored its emphasis on societal advancement, particularly in uplifting the underprivileged, youth, farmers, and women. The CM also highlighted that an unparalleled development budget of 3 lakh crore was allocated last year.

Har Ghar Jal Initiative

As per Operational Guidelines of JJM, after making provision of tap connections to all rural households in a village, the Department implementing the scheme provides completion certificate to Gram Panchayat and marks the village as ‘Har Ghar Jal’ village on JJM-IMIS.

Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY) guidelines

As per the PMKKKY guidelines 2024, at least 70% of the funds are to be spent on High Priority Sectors like drinking water supply, environment preservation and pollution control measures, health care, education, welfare of women and children, welfare of aged and differently abled, skill development and livelihood generation, sanitation, housing, agriculture, and animal husbandry. Up to 30% of the funds are to be spent on Other Priority Sectors like physical infrastructure, irrigation, energy and watershed development, and any other measures for enhancing environmental quality in the mining affected district.

Digital Health Profile Card for all in Telangana soon

Chief Minister of Telangana has instructed authorities to create a Digital Health record for all residents in the state, emphasizing the need for appropriate actions. The Chief Minister proposed the integration of a distinct identifier with the digital health profile card to facilitate essential medical assistance during emergencies. Additionally, the health profile card will be associated with the Arogyasri.

Technical Committee to ascertain the cause of the ammonia leak in Ennore

Government of Tamil Nadu had constituted a Technical Committee to ascertain the cause of the ammonia leak in Ennore on 26/12/2023. Following a thorough examination and careful consideration, the Technical Committee determined that the release of ammonia occurred from the undersea pipeline belonging to Coromandel International Ltd., situated near the shoreline. The committee also noted that the substantial movement of dense granite boulders around the pipeline, induced by Cyclone Michaung, may have led to pipeline damage, consequently causing the leakage of ammonia gas.

Credit Enhancement Guarantee Scheme for Scheduled Castes

The objective of the Scheme is to promote entrepreneurship amongst the Scheduled Castes entrepreneurs by providing Credit Enhancement Guarantee to Member Lending Institutions (MLIs) who shall be providing financial assistance to SC entrepreneurs. IFCI Ltd is the Nodal Agency for implementation of the Scheme for issuing the guarantee to the MLIs, who are encouraged to finance Scheduled Caste entrepreneurs. Under the Scheme, Individuals, Sole Proprietorship, Registered companies, Partnerships & Societies belonging to Scheduled Castes can avail the benefit of the scheme through MLIs for availing Term Loan/Composite Term Loan/ Working Capital facility.

National Minimum standards and Protocol for Creches

This document has been prepared by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in consultation with Ministry of Labor and Employment which prescribes the national minimum standards and protocol for setting up and running of créches in India, emphasizing the institutionalization of care services to support and promote female labor force participation.
