All the universities and their affiliated colleges are also requested to ensure that the details of all the vacant teaching posts, along with the reservations and advertisement details are uploaded on the University Activity Monitoring Portal.

UGC in its earlier circular dated 7th December 2020 has notified the Guidelines for Higher education institutions to offer Apprenticeship/internship embedded Degree programme for embedding apprenticeship/ internship in general degree programmes offered by the Universities.
Cabinet approves continuation of National Apprenticeship Training Scheme for next five years.
The scheme is a well-established scheme of Government of India which has demonstrated to enhance the employability of students who have successfully completed the apprenticeship training. The apprentices who have completed graduate and diploma programme in Engineering, Humanities, Science and Commerce will be given stipend of Rs.9,000/- and Rs.8,000/- per monthrespectively.
UGC directs nodal officers appointed by educational institutions under NSP to complete Aadhar Demographic Authentication
The students shall apply for Scholarship through the portal the nodal officers shall verify the applications. The nodal officers cannot verify the applications without Aadhar Demographic Authentication.
The National Medical Commission (Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate) Regulations, 2021.
The guiding principle for licensing a foreign medical graduate to practice in India is to ensure that the Foreign Medical Graduate fulfils the requirements of education and training equivalent or commensurate with that of an Indian medical graduate.
The National Medical Commission (Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship) Regulations, 2021
No medical graduate shall be eligible to permanent registration to practice medicine in India unless he undergoes the compulsory rotating medical internship in India.
Process for pharmacy institutions to apply for approval for 2022-2023 academic session
The PCI portal will be open from 01.12.2021 to 15.12.2021 for existing institutions applying for approval for 2022-2023 academic session.
DCI directs all Dental College to upload the details of students admitted in MDS course for the academic session 2021-2022.
The council also clarified that the duration of MDS courses shall be of 3 years and similarly the PG diploma course shall be of 2 years from the date of commencement of the session.
