NMC notifies guidelines for Implementation of NIC Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) in all medical colleges.
The objective of NMC Dashboard is to provide a seamless and unified view of OPD and IPD transactions happening in medical colleges. Patient Level data will be sent from each HMIS application for OPD and IPD initially. Data for other modules like Lab, OT, etc. will be added later on.
NMC extends the last date of receipt of application for the UG MBBS courses to 31st August 2022.
NMC had earlier invited applications for the undergraduate MBBS courses and starting of new medical colleges/increase of seats and renewal of courses pending for recognitions for the academic year 2023-2024 upto 10th August 2022, which has now being extended till 31st August 2022.
NMC issues notification on online filing of information relating to admissions made in medical colleges for 1st year MBBS degree for the Academic year 2021-2022.
NMC in its earlier notification, directed the college authorities to fill details of all students admitted in MBBS course during academic year 2021-22 into “UG Admission Monitoring Module”students entry system on NMC website by 5th August 2022 which has now been extended till 12th August 2022,.
Notification regarding Providing technical education in mother tongue in NEP
To provide the engineering course material in Indian Languages, AICTE has introduced “AICTE Technical Book Writing and Translation” in 12 scheduled Indian languages.
Gender inclusive holistic education will be included under NEP
One of the learning outcomes of AEP is to make the learners aware of the concerns of adolescence, i.e. process of growing up during adolescence & HIV/AIDS and to inculcate in them positive attitude regarding these concerns.
Launch of UGC e-resources
The resources include 25 SWAYAM PG Non-Engineering MOOCs in 8 Indian Languages, e-PG Pathshala e-content developed in 67 Post Graduate subjects and several other courses for UG and PG. The translated courses will address language barriers and promote Indian Ianguages while also providing flexibility of learning in mother tongue to the learners.
NMC invites applications for grant of permanent registration to practice modern medicine/allopathy in India to the persecuted minorities.
The applicants are advised to strictly follow the instructions given for filing up of the online application through the link provided at NMC website. The applicant must possess a valid medical qualification and had been [practicing medicine in Pakistan prior to his/her migration to India. The last date for submission of application is 5th September 2022.
NMC directs registration of all Medical Colleges in All India Survey on Higher Education
Inclusion of all institutions in the AISHE is necessary as the next round of applications for scholarships will start shortly.

all the medical colleges/institutions are requested to fill in the requisite data within the stipulated time. No physical/manual data will be accepted whatsoever is the reason.
NMC directs medical colleges to validate their NEET PG & SS seat data on the NMC website.
The colleges shall intimate any discrepancy, if found in number of seats and/or recognition of the course latest by 8th August 2022 along with supporting documents.In case if no communication is received within the stipulated time, it will be understood that the college/institute has no objection to the data displayed on the website.
