Bombay High Court Order Puts Pharmacy College Applications Back on Track
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced it will resume processing applications from certain pharmacy colleges following a Bombay High Court order. In its 409th Executive Committee (EC) meeting held on June 6, 2024, the PCI acknowledged the High Court order.
Draft Pharmacy Regulations To Include Manner of Holding Enquiry, Imposing Penalty and Preferring Appeal
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has released draft regulations for public comment to address false claims of registration by pharmacy practitioners and to provide for the manner of holding enquiry, imposing penalty and preferring appeal. The PCI is inviting comments on the proposed regulations by August 8, 2024.

UGC clarifications regarding Arrear of Post-Doctoral fellowship

Stakeholders (HEI’s and Fellows) are requested to claim their pending dues i.e., fellowship/house rent allowance/contingency admissible up to August 2024, by 8th October 2024 on Scholarship Fellowship Management Portal (SFMP).
NMC Receives Certificate Of Appreciation For Its GST Compliance
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the GST authorities for its outstanding performance and adherence to GST regulations during the financial year 2023-24. The NMC has taken this opportunity to remind the medical colleges, institutions, and the medical fraternity to include the applicable GST rate (currently 18%) when making fee payments to the NMC.
