Govt. of Delhi modifies Conditions for Establishing New Physiotherapy Courses

The amendment states that performance guarantee, furnished by institutions desirous of starting a new or higher course, must be valid for 5 years and be renewable after the expiry of this period. Additionally, renewal of permission granted for increase in the admission capacity for Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) courses shall be subject to and revalidation, if necessary, of the performance bank guarantee every five years till continuation of course.

Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET-UG 2023 Eligible Candidates Announced

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) has issued a notice of extension of the last date of admission for undergraduate courses and conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for vacant MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing seats under the All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota. This Special Stray Vacancy Round will be the final round for undergraduate courses for the academic year 2023.

DCI announces Revised BDS Course Counseling Schedule and Data Upload Deadlines

The Dental Council of India (DCI) has instructed dental college authorities to upload the details of students admitted to the BDS course for the academic session 2023-24 on the DCI Website on or before the last date of joining, i.e., 15th November 2023, at 12:00 midnight. Any claims of admission made after 12:00 midnight on November 15, 2023, will be subject to legal actions under the prescribed laws.

INC further extends deadline for Admissions to all Nursing Programmes

This extension in deadline for admissions for the academic year 2023-2024 is in response to requests received from several states. Therefore, the Indian Nursing Council (INC) has further extended the deadline for admissions to all nursing programmes for the academic year 2023-2024 to 30th November, 2023.

Circular Regarding wider dissemination the “National Programme on Artificial”

The UGC committee has prepared a report titled ‘National Programme on Artificial Intelligence (NPAI) Skilling framework. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the current status of AI technologies across sector and further need to align skilling initiatives. The Higher Education Institutions are requested to widely disseminate the report among all the students and faculty to build momentum around skilling in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
