The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has begun accepting applications for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate Courses (NEET-PG) 2024. Applications can be submitted online only through the NBEMS website from April 16, 2024 (3 PM onwards) to May 6, 2024 (11:55 PM)

PCI Reiterates Its Exclusive Authority To Conduct Exit Examinations

It has come to the notice of the PCI that Srimanta Shankardev University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has issued a notification for conducting an Exit Examination for all students who already graduated with a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree. Therefore PCI has issued a public notice categorically stating that it is the sole prescribed authority empowered to conduct Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examinations.

UGC mandates strict compliance to Academic Calendar by Higher Education Institutions

The Higher Education lnstitutions are requested to announce their academic calendar, giving the schedules for all its activities during the year, and also adhere to the timeline for the commencement of the academic session, exam schedule, and declaration of results, etc. as prescribed by the UGC or the relevant Statutory Regulatory Councils, where applicable.

NMC Issues Final Reminder For Medical Colleges To Submit Annual Declarations

The NMC has declared that any college or institution failing to submit the Annual Declaration Form by April 18, 2024 will not be granted permission to admit students for the MBBS program in the 2024-25 academic year. This is the final chance for medical colleges to ensure they are eligible to accept students for the next academic year.

NMC Clarifies Document Requirements for PG Medical Course Applications

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a clarification regarding document submission for applications to start new PG medical courses or increase existing seats. NMC is requesting all medical colleges and institutions that have failed to submit the correct documents to resubmit their applications by April 17, 2024.
