The Ministry has released Revision XXXII of the Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules (ALMM) List-I (Manufacturers and Models of Solar PV Modules). This revision incorporates the latest updates on approved solar PV modules based on minimum efficiency requirements and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) compliance.
Deadline Extended for Comments on Carbon Credit Trading Regulations

India has demonstrated commendable progress in energy conservation, outperforming the global average in recent years. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), India’s energy intensity improved by 2.5% between 2010 and 2019, surpassing the global average of 2%. Public Hearing on Electricity Transmission Charges and Losses Rescheduled for January 3rd
The public hearing previously scheduled for December 11, 2024, will now be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:30 AM. The hearing will be conducted online via video conferencing. The CERC will share the Microsoft Teams link for the public hearing with registered participants. The deadline to register for the hearing is January 1, 2025.

CERC Notifies Commencement of Clause 8 of DSM Regulations 2024
The stipulation in DSM Regulations regarding charges for deviation by way of injection of infirm power will now come into effect on December 23, 2024. Until December 22, 2024, CERC’s Order dated February 6, 2023, on charges for deviation for injection of scheduled inform power will remain in operation.
