Jharkhand SERC (Guidelines for establishment of forum for redressal of Grievances of the Consumers Electricity Ombudsman and Consumer Advocacy )(First amendment), Regulations, 2022

The amendment provides that a Complainant, distribution licensee or any other person who is a party to any proceedings before the Forum may either appear in person or authorize any person who may be an Advocate (within the meaning of the Advocates Act, 1961) to present his/ her case before the Forum and to do all or any of the acts for the purpose.

Through this amendment, the definition for the term “floor price “has been inserted which means the minimum price at which the Energy Savings Certificate shall be traded in power exchanges.

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Light Commercial Air Conditioners) Draft Regulations, 2022.

No star label shall be affixed on a light commercial air conditioner without obtaining the prior permission of the Bureau. For the purposes of obtaining permission of the Bureau, every brand shall be registered separately, accompanied by a label security fee of one lakh rupees, payable by any acceptable electronic mode of payment: Provided that in case of small scale industry, the label security fee shall be twenty five thousand rupees only.

The National Cancer Grid (NCG) is an initiative of the Government of India through the Department of Atomic Energy and its grant-in-aid institution, the Tata Memorial Centre, to create a network of cancer centres, research institutes, patient groups and charitable institutions across India with the objective of developing uniform standards of patient care for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
