Environment (Protection) Second Amendment Rules, 2021

The amendment has provided a list of Pharmaceutical Bulk Drugs and Formulations and has provided the effluent standards for the same. The standards is applicable to all discharges except to CETP and shall be applicable to all discharge to land and surface water bodies including use of treated wastewater for horticulture or irrigation purpose. Limits shall be applicable to industries those are using Benzene, Xylene, Methylene Chloride, Chlorobenzene.
