Government of Andhra Pradesh notifies ban on plastic flexi banners in the state under environment (protection) Act, 1986.
Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board represented by member secretary, concerned unit head, zonal officer, regional officer shall be enforcing authority to enforce ban on manufacturing, import of plastic flexi material and printing of plastic flexi banners in their respective jurisdiction.

Government of Kerala increases the deposit limit under Kerala Water Authority (Water Supply) Amendment Regulations, 2022.

Environment (Protection) Second Amendment Rules, 2022
The amendment mandates retirement of thermal power plants for exemption from compliance parameters other than SO2 emissions from within 10 km radius of National Capital Region or cities having million plus population or within 10 km radius of Critically Polluted Areas or Non-attainment cities.
