Online Filling Of Information On Medical Colleges Admission For 1st Year MBBS Degree
The NMC has launched a dedicated online platform to monitor admissions. Medical colleges are required to submit all details of admitted MBBS students for the academic year 2024-25 through this system. Colleges must submit all information by November 8, 2024, beyond which the system will be inaccessible.
Pre-Ayurveda-Programme for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery Regulations
The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program will be a seven-and-a-half-year course, including a two-year pre-Ayurveda program. The institutions will follow the Gurukulam model, focusing on traditional values and holistic education. All Ayurveda Gurukulams will be affiliated with the Central Sanskrit University. The number of Gurukulams will be determined based on population and regional needs.

Extension Granted for PG Medical Course Annual Declaration Report
The Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) has extended the deadline for medical colleges and institutions to submit their Annual Declaration Report for PG Medical Courses. The new deadline is fixed as November 15, 2024.
Nursing Admission Deadline Extended Till November 30th, 2024
The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has announced an extension of the admission deadline for all nursing programs for the academic year 2024-25. This comes as a response to requests from various states seeking additional time for student enrollment. The last date for admission for all nursing programs (ANM, GNM, B.Sc. (N), PBB.Sc. (N), M.Sc. (N), Post Basic Diploma, and NPCC) has been extended to November 30, 2024.
Medical Colleges Advised to Check MARB Final Decisions
The NMC’s Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) has already conveyed decisions regarding new medical colleges, MBBS seat increases, and new/expanded PG courses via email and public notices. Medical colleges are advised to verify if they have received communication regarding their applications. In case of any discrepancy, they can reach out to MARB by email or phone by October 28 & 29, 2024, 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
UGC request to HEIs for Participation in the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Programme
Registered institutions are requested to submit their proposals under UGCs Subject Expert Group (SEG)-Curriculum Reforms and Educational Institutions and Social Responsibility through the UBA Proposal Submission Portal (https:/lunnatbharatabhiyan.gov.in/) for the UBA Subject Expert Groups (SEGs), open until the 30th October 2024.
