These regulations, amongst other aspects, contemplate an annual disclosure report to be submitted by medical colleges and medical institutions to the UGMEB or the PGMEB, as the case may be. The Boards will then evaluate these reports to verify if the medical colleges or medical institutions satisfy the conditions or regulations issued by NMC from time to time.
DCI issues Fresh Schedule for MDS counseling schedule for Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had previously reduced the qualifying percentile for PG-MDS (Postgraduate Master of Dental Surgery) Courses in the NEET PG-MDS Counselling 2023 by 31.807 percentage points across all categories. Therefore, in light of this, it has also released a fresh schedule for NEET PG-MDS Counselling 2023.
PCI directions to pharmacy educational institutions for curbing ragging
PCI has directed that at the time of submission of compliance form, E-certificate shall be issued to the institution. HEIs may display the E-certificate on their website.

UGC Special Campaign for disposal of pending Matters from 2nd October to 31st October, 2023
Administrative Reforms and public Greivance (DARPG) will be issuing detailed guidelines for the ensuing campaign separately. In view of above, the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are requested to take appropriate action for ensuring disposal of pending matters and thereby ensuring success of the campaign.
Corrigendum Issued for Delhi Health Service (Teaching Cadre of Homoeopathy) Rules, 2023
In the original notification, Schedule III, specifically at Serial Number 1, related to the post of Principal, there was a discrepancy in the “Field of Selection and minimum qualifying service for promotion” column. The notification initially stated “Professors in level 14 (Rs. 144200-218200/-)” as the qualification requirement. However, the corrigendum has rectified this error and replaced it with “Professors in level 13 (Rs. 123100-215900/-).”

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to provide clarity on the “Guidelines for Establishment of New Medical Institutions, Starting of New Medical Courses, Increase of Seats for Existing Courses, and Assessment and Rating Regulations for Undergraduate Medical Education, 2023 (UG-MSR 2023).” These FAQs were published on 13th September, 2023.
