Under these regulations, all matters concerning the Ph.D. program at the Institute will be overseen by Research Committees, with general supervision from the Governing body. Applicants for the doctoral program will be classified into various categories based on their funding source or employment status. Admissions to the Ph.D. program will be conducted annually, with entrance tests typically held in October-November. The Institute will publish an academic calendar specifying all important dates related to the admission process, including advertisement, application submission, and entrance test results.

The Dental Council of India (DCI) has published two lists of defaulting dental colleges on matters concerning anti-ragging: List of defaulter Dental Colleges who have not conducted/uploaded Anti Ragging Orientation Program 2023-24 Report on DCI Anti Ragging Online Module and List of defaulter Dental Colleges who have not uploaded Anti Ragging Report, Oct 2023 on DCI Anti Ragging Online Module.

Nursing Institutions Face Stringent Fines For Operating On Single Campus
The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has stated that during its surprise inspections it has observed that there are several nursing institutions functioning in the same campus. INC has emphasised that this amounts to a violation of its norms and guidelines. Hence, in a meeting dated January, 2024, the INC has taken the decision to penalise erring institutions. It has decided to impose a penalty of Rs 5 lakh per institution.
