Standards and Rating for Undergraduate Siddha Colleges and Teaching Hospitals

The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine has published the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (Minimum Essential Standards, Assessment and Rating for Undergraduate Siddha Colleges and Attached Teaching Hospitals) Regulations, 2024. These regulations aim to ensure quality education and infrastructure for aspiring Siddha practitioners.

Medical Colleges Urged to Submit Stipend Details

he NMC previously instructed colleges to submit stipend information for the 2023-24 financial year by April 23, 2024. However, the NMC has observed that many colleges haven’t submitted the required data. Therefore, the NMC has emphasized that defaulting medical colleges shall submit these details in the prescribed format by May 2, 2024.

Applications Invited For Foreign Medical Graduate Examination June 2024

The exam allows Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India with medical degrees from abroad to practice medicine in India upon passing. Applications can only be submitted online through the NBEMS website from April 29th, 2024 (1:00 PM onwards) to May 20th, 2024 (until 11:55 PM).

Survey On Mental Health And Well-being Of Medical Students

This initiative is undertaken by the NMC’s National Task Force on Mental Health and Well-being of Medical Students. The survey aims to gather data on the mental health experiences of both students and faculty within medical colleges.
