NBEMS Revises Its Stipend Guidelines for Trainee Doctors

Hospitals and institutions are required to adjust stipend rates periodically to reflect revisions made by State or Central Governments for their respective trainee programs. Hospitals cannot reduce the stipend amount in exchange for providing housing.

Extension of Last date to submit applications (fresh & renewal) under National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme for Year 2024-25 up to 30.09.2024 on National Scholarship Portal

The last date for submission of applications by the selected meritorious students on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) for the year 2024-25 has been extended upto 30.09.2024. The NSP portal is open for submission of applications by students w.e.f 30th June, 2024. In this project year 2024-25, the selected students are first to do a One Time Registration (OTR) on the NSP ,after which they have to apply for the scholarship scheme that they have selected. National Exit Test (NExT) For Ayush Effective From 2021-2022 Batch

NExT will be mandatory for licensing and enrollment in State or National Registers after completing a one-year internship. The test is designed to evaluate practical skills through clinical case scenarios, images, and videos. Interns who have not completed their internship but have qualified in the NExT will be eligible to register in State or National registration boards only after completing their one-year internship.

NOC Required for Admit Card Issuance for Nursing Entrance Examinations

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has issued a reminder to all candidates that a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory for the issuance of admit cards. Candidates who have not yet produced their NOCs will not be able to obtain their admit cards and, consequently, will not be allowed to participate in the examination.

Pharmacy Council of India Extends Approval and Appeal Deadline for Academic Year 2024-25

The Supreme Court granted an extension for the completion of the approval process until October 31, 2024, and for appeals or compliance processes until November 30, 2024. PCI has clarified that all admission-making authorities, state governments, and other relevant bodies are requested to allot admissions to various pharmacy courses approved by the PCI until November 30, 2024 for the academic year 2024-2025.
