Indian Nursing Council Further Extends Deadline for Compliance Reports
The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has extended the deadline for nursing institutions to submit compliance reports for the academic year 2024-25 to October 25, 2024. This extension applies specifically to institutions that have not yet received suitability approval.
DCI Extends Deadlines for Uploading Student Details
All BDS student details must be uploaded to the DCI portal by November 5, 2024 and all MDS/PG Diploma student details must be uploaded to the DCI portal by October 25, 2024. Colleges must upload data only for students genuinely admitted to their institution. Uploading details of students admitted elsewhere can lead to penalties.
NMC Clarifies CBME Guidelines Following Court Observations
The NMC emphasizes that regulations and guidelines are applicable as and when published and circulated to medical colleges. The NMC will direct universities to instruct their respective publishers to make necessary changes to textbooks based on the NMC’s revised disability guidelines.

DCI Advisory regarding admission in BDS/MDS/ PG Diploma Courses
All the dental colleges are directed to intimate this Council within 15 days about cancellation/discontinuation/discharge of any student from the college, failing which, appropriate action shall be taken under the provision of Dentists Act and Regulations made thereunder.
