SEBI revises directions for mutual funds to participate in repo transactions on Corporate Debt Securities
The prior circular provides that the Mutual funds shall participate in repo transactions only in AAA rated corporate debt securities. The new directions allows Mutual Funds to participate in repos on following corporate debt securities: (a)Listed AA and above rated corporate debt securities (b) Commercial Papers (CPs) and Certificate of Deposits (CDs).
SEBI has mandated upstreaming of all client funds received by Stock Brokers (SBs)/Clearing Members (CMs) to Clearing Corporations (CCs)
The stock exchanges and CCs shall create an SOP for monitoring the implementation of provisions of this Circular and put in place a uniform penalty structure for non-compliance.
NSE to hold mock session for familiarization of the Member Interfaces for Two-way Portability

SEBI has introduced certain stipulations for transactions on the RFQ platform, specifically targeting Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Services, and Alternate Investment Funds. Additionally, SEBI has decided to increase liquidity on the RFQ platform for trading in Corporate Bonds (CBs) by Scheduled Banks (SBs).

NSE reminder to members for Submission of Risk Based Supervision Data for FY 2022-23
The submission of RBS data is mandatory for all active Members of the Exchange (i.e. those who have executed even a single trade during the aforementioned period). Submission is to be made electronically through the Inspection module in the Member Portal on or before due date to avoid any penal charges/disciplinary action.
