Spices Board (Registration of Exporter (Amendment) Regulations, 2021
The amendment provides that every applicant for certificate of registration as exporter of spices shall notify Spices Board, of each establishment or unit under its control that carries out any of the stages of warehousing, processing, value addition etc of spices for export and shall also ensure that the Board always has up-to-date information on such establishments, including any significant change in activities and any addition or closure of an establishment or unit.
The Major Port Authorities Act, 2021 to come into force on 3rd November 2021.
The Act has proposed a simplified composition of the Board of Port Authority which will comprise of 11 to 13 Members from the present 17 to 19 Members representing various interests.
Amended Foreign Policy regarding export of SCOMET items from DTA to SEZ/EOU and outside the country
As per amended provisions no export authorization is required for supply of SCOMET items from DTA to SEZ/EOU. However, export authorization is required when SCOMET items are physically exported out of the country.
The Courier Imports and Exports (Electronic Declaration and Processing), Amendment, Regulations, 2021.
A registration shall be valid unless and until revoked under these regulations, however if an Authorised Courier is found to be inactive for a continuous period of one year, the registration shall be deemed to be invalid from the first day after expiry of the said period of one year.

Through this amendment, An Authorised Courier under regulation 10A, may surrender the registration through an application in writing to the Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs who has granted the registration, as the case may be.
Egg products shall comply with Codex standards of Codex Alimentarius Commission
The egg products shall comply with the National Standard of the importing countries in absence of which codex standards of Codex Alimentarius Commission.
DGFT extends the date for mandatory electronic filing of Non-preferential CoO to 31st October 2021.
Based on the request of certain Chambers/Associations notified under Appendix-2E, the existing system of manual/paper-based submission and processing of non-preferential CoO applications is being extended further upto 31st October 2021 only and the online system is not being made mandatory
DGFT puts quantitative restrictions on export of 3 types of syringes.
The decision to put in place a quantitative restriction on export of syringes is to boost their domestic availability and uptake was taken as part of the commitment to vaccinate India’s citizens.
DGFT amends the export policy of melt blown fabric.
Through this notification, the non-woven fabric of 25 to 70 GSM and melt-blown fabric of any GSM has been freely allowed for export.
DGFT amends the export policy of Diagnostic kits/laboratory reagents.
DGFT has allowed all diagnostic kits/reagents/instruments/apparatus to be freely exported subject to submission of an undertaking by the exporter to the customs authorities at the time of export.
