Companies (Registration of Foreign Companies) Amendment Rules, 2024
The documents for registration by a foreign company shall be delivered in Form FC-1 to the Registrar, Central Registration Centre. Registrar, Central Registration Centre shall issue the registration certification from commencement date.
MCA has issued Companies (Adjudication of Penalties) Amendment Rules, 2024
On the commencement of the Companies (Adjudication of Penalties) Amendment Rules, 2024, all proceedings (including issue of notices, filing replies or documents, evidences, holding of hearing, attendance of witnesses, passing of orders and payment of penalty) of adjudicating officer and Regional Director under these rules shall take place in electronic mode only through the e-adjudication platform developed by the Central Government for this purpose.

The ‘National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP)’ (https://cybercrime.gov.in) has been launched, as a part of the I4C, to enable public to report incidents pertaining to all types of cyber-crimes, with special focus on cyber-crimes against women and children. Cyber-crime incidents reported on this portal, their conversion into FIRs and subsequent action thereon are handled by the State/UT Law Enforcement Agencies concerned as per the provisions of the law.
Odisha’s New Minimum Wage Rates: What You Need to Know
The Government of Odisha has revised the minimum wage rates for various types of workers across different sectors on 18th July.
Revised Wage Rates:
Unskilled: Rs. 450.00 per day
Semi-skilled: Rs. 500.00 per day
Skilled: Rs. 550.00 per day
Highly Skilled: Rs. 600.00 per day

The amendment provides that if a director intends to update his personal mobile number or the email address again at any time during the financial, he shall update the same by submitting e-form DIR-3 KYC on payment of fees of five hundred rupees.

The Committee recommends the introduction of an ex-ante legislation specifically applicable to large digital enterprises, to supplement the Competition Act.
