UIDAI has urged residents to update their documents for continued accuracy of information in the Aadhaar database

Keeping the documents in Aadhaar updated helps in ease of living, better service delivery, and enables accurate authentication. UIDAI has always encouraged residents to keep their documents updated, and the Aadhaar (Enrolment and Update) (Tenth Amendment) Regulations 2022 notified on November 09, 2022 was another step in that direction. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has urged residents to update their documents for continued accuracy of information in the Aadhaar database.

Second set of revised Company Forms

MCA is launching Second set of Company Forms covering 56 forms in two different lots on MCA21 V3 portal. 10 out of 56 forms will be launched on 09th January 2023 at 12:00 AM and the remaining 46 forms on 23rd January 2022.

The Press Information Bureau publicises the National Single Window System (NSWS)

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, Piyush Goyal has stated that NSWS helps in reducing data duplication and filling same data in various forms using auto-population Module. PAN number is likely to be used as a unique identifier for API integration of data between ministries and states for ensuring single business user ID. Moreover, renewal of licences would also be brought under NSWS .

Companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation) Amendment Rules, 2022

A registered valuers organization shall intimate the authority for a change in the composition of its governing board, or its committees or appellate panel, or other details, after payment of fee. It is further clarified that a member functioning as a whole-time director in the company registered as valuer shall not be treated as an employee.

Aadhaar (Enrolment and Update) (Tenth Amendment) Regulations, 2022

Aadhaar number holders may, on completion of every 10 years from the date of enrolment for Aadhaar, update their supporting documents in Aadhaar, at least once, by submitting Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents as specified under Aadhaar Enrolment so as to ensure the continued accuracy of their information in the Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR), in such manner as may be specified by the Authority from time to time.
