MCA notifies Several Revised Company Forms

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued a notification listing out the various forms that are notified in January 2023. This notification lists out 10 new company forms that were rolled out on 9th January, 2023. The notification also lists out 46 new company forms that will be rolled out on 23rd January, 2023.

MCA relaxation for filing e-forms that are being revised

The Ministry is in the process of introducing certain company e-Forms in MCA21 Version 3.0 and thus these e-Forms will not be available in MCA21 Version-2 from January 07, 2023, to January 22, 2023. Additional time of 15 days is allowed without levying additional fees, to the stakeholders, in cases where the due dates for filing of these 45 e-Forms fall during the period between January 07, 2023, to January 22, 2023.

MCA clarification regarding migration of Forms GNL-2 and MGT-14 from V2 Version to V3 Version in the MCA 21 portal

The companies intending to file (i) Form GNL-2 (filing of prospectus-related documents) and (ii) MGT-14 (filing of Resolutions relating to prospectus-related documents) from January 07, 2023, to January 22, 2023, on the MCA-21 Portal may file such Form in physical mode duly signed by the persons concerned as per requirements of the relevant forms, along with a copy thereof in electronic media, with the concerned Registrar without payment of fee and take acknowledgment thereof.

MeitY notifies on UIDAI provision for online address update in Aadhaar based on relationship with ‘Head of Family’

The HoF-based online address update in Aadhaar is intended to help the relative(s) of a resident such as the children, spouse, parents, etc, who lack supporting documents in their own name to update their address in their Aadhaar. The applicant is required to submit documentary proof of relationship such as a Ration Card, Marksheet, Marriage Certificate, Passport, etc.. The document should mention the names of both the applicant and HOF and the relationship between them.

While sharing Aadhaar with any trusted entity, the same level of caution may be exercised which one does at the time of sharing Mobile number, Bank account number or any other identity document like Passport, Voter Id, PAN, Ration Card etc
