Govt. issues Consultation Paper on refund process at IEPF Authority
The Authority invites suggestions from industry, companies and investors to make the process more investor friendly. in order to ease the process of refund, suggestions are invited on Realtime Online interface between IEPFA, Claimant and Company, Shares transferred through Reverse Corporate Action and Limitation Threshold.
Ministry of Finance notifies Reporting Entities for Aadhar Authentication
The Government has notified 39 entities as reporting entities that are granted permission to perform Aadhar Authentication. This list was compiled upon consultation with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIAI) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Amendment Rules, 2023
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has notified the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Amendment Rules, 2023. These Rules seek to further to amend the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014. The Rules revise certain forms and provide for signing of e-forms by certain entities. These Amendment Rules have come into effect from 23rd January, 2023.
Companies (Accounts) Amendment Rules, 2023
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued the Companies (Accounts) Amendment Rules, 2023. The Amendment Rules revise Form No. AOC- 5, i.e., “Notice of Accounts at which books of account are to be maintained”. These Amendment Rules are effective from 23rd January, 2023.
Companies (Share Capital and Debentures) Amendment Rules, 2023
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has published the Companies (Share Capital and Debentures) Amendment Rules, 2023. The amendment brings about changes to the provision relating to buy-back of shares or other securities and also bring about revisions in certain forms. These Amendment Rules are effective from 23rd January, 2023.
Companies (Appointment and Remuneration of Managerial Personnel) Amendment Rules, 2023
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued the Companies (Appointment and Remuneration of Managerial Personnel) Amendment Rules, 2023. The Amendment Rules have brought about revisions in Form No. MR. 1 and Form No. MR.2. These Amendment Rules are effective from 23rd January, 2023.
New guidelines for Requesting Entities providing Aadhaar authentication services to residents
It has further asked REs to provide effective grievance-handling mechanisms for residents and cooperate with UIDAI and other agencies deputed by it for any security audit as required under the law and regulations.
Companies (Authorized to Register) Amendment Rules, 2023
The amendment has revised the Form No. URC-1 which provides the format for application by a company for registration under section 366.
Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2023
The amendment provides that the name of the nominee of the owner of an OPC shall be mentioned in the memorandum of One Person Company((OPC) and such nomination details along with the consent of such nominee shall be filled in Form No. INC-32 (SPICe+) as a declaration and the said Form along with the fee as provided in the Companies (Registration offices and fees) Rules, 2014 shall be filed with the Registrar at the time of incorporation of the company along with its e-memorandum and e-articles.
Nidhi (Amendment) Rules, 2023
This shall come into force on January 23, 2023. The amendment seeks to revise the NIDHI forms.
