Revised export policy for Basmati and Non-Basmati rice

Policy for export of Basmati and Non-Basmati rice to countries in the European Union shall be ‘free’ subject to obtaining a certificate of inspection issued by Export Inspection Council/Export Inspection Agency.

DGFT amends guidelines on ANF-4F of Handbook of Procedures, 2015-2020.

As per the amendment, e-BRC / Bank Certificate of Exports and Realisation in the form given at Appendix 2U or Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate (FIRC) in the case of direct negotiation of documents or Appendix 2L in case of offsetting of export proceeds. In case of export to OFAC listed countries, exporter may submit FIRC along-with the self-declaration that e-BRC (electronic Bank Realisation Certificate) could not be generated by the concerned bank.

DGFT revises Import policy of only ‘Drosophila melanogaster’

The import policy is revised from restricted to ‘Free’ subject to IBSC approval, as per the provisions of the ‘Revised Simplified Procedures/ Guidelines on Import, Export and Exchange of GE organisms and products thereof for R&D purpose’ notified by the Department of Biotechnology.

IFSCA invites public comments on draft ‘IFSCA Guidance framework on Sustainable and Sustainability linked lending by financial institutions in IFSCs.

The guidance intends to provide a broad framework for adoption of principles aligned with the existing international standards viz. Green/Social Loan Principles developed by Loan Market Association (LMA), Bond Principles developed by International Capital Markets Association (ICMA), Climate Bond Standards by Climate Bonds Initiative and any other similar recognized standards.
