PM launches National Logistics Policy

The National Logistics Policy will bring new energy to all sectors. Unified Logistics Interface Platform ULIP will bring all the digital services related to the transportation sector into a single portal, freeing the exporters from a host of very long and cumbersome processes. Similarly, under the policy a new digital platform Ease of logistics Services -E-Logs has also been started.

DGFT mandates TRQ licensees to intimate import details

Information and proof of purchase/import arrangements, such as, details of advance payment along with purchase contract/Letter of Credit along with the
SWIFT Output Message Reference date, and other supporting documents shall be sent to the email ids: ddg1import-dgft@gov.in and policy2-dgft@gov.in latest by 20.09.2022.

DGFT notifies Amendment in Export Policy of broken rice.

In order to ensure adequate availability of broken rice for consumption by domestic poultry industry and for other animal feedstock; and to produce ethanol for successful implementation of EBP program, Govt. of India has amended the export policy of broken rice (under HS Code 10064000) w.e.f 9th Sep, 2022 from “Free” to “Prohibited” with certain relaxations.

Government of Kerala invites comments/suggestions from public on the Draft export policy.

Through this policy, a dedicated Institute may be created to carry out trainings and other Capacity Building regarding exports and export promotion in the state. Skill development programme shall be conducted existing exporters, entrepreneurs and artisans in improving their product and in product diversification. Trade Awareness Programmes and Trade Development Programmes may be conducted in periodic intervals of existing exporters and non-exporters in the nuances of exporting and overseas markets.
