Amendments to the Tamil Nadu Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011
The Tamil Nadu Government on 3 July, 2019 has made amendments to the Tamil Nadu Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011. as per the amendment the licensing and renewal fees for manufacturers, repairers, dealers of weights and measures and the security deposits that are to be made by licensed repairer has been updated.
Online Fire NOC through Single Desk Portal for Industries
AP State Disaster Response & Fire services Department has published an update on its website for industries on Ease of Doing Business. Industries can easily obtain No Objection Certificate from Fire Department through Single Desk Portal in online mode with out any hassle. For issuance of building permission, a single joint site inspection will be carried out by all concerned authorities. Application for fire provisional NOC can be submitted along with building permission through the Integrated Common Application Form.
Goa Government amends Goa Land Development and Building Construction Regulations, 2010
The Goa Land Development and Building Construction Regulations, 2010 has been duly amended. Many changes has been introduced in the amendment including empowering of Government to issue permissions and clearances online. Further the definition of Shopping mall cum multiplex has been inserted.
Amendments in Time limit for operation in TS-ipass for electrical installation certificate
The Telengana Government has revised entry No 4 to Annexure VI of Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System (TS-iPASS) Act, 2014, in which the time line for operations to issue Electrical Design Approval by Chief Electrical inspector is amended to 6 days in line with the G.O.MS.No.01 passed by the Energy Department in place of 14 days which was provided earlier.
The Andhra Pradesh Legal Metrology Enforcement Amendment Rules 2019
The Andhra Pradesh Legal Metrology Enforcement Amendment Rules 2019, has amended the duration of validity of a license to be 1 calendar year and renewal shall be granted for 1 calendar year to 3 calendar years, on payment of yearly renewal fees.
Filing of single integrated return under Boiler Act excluded – Telangana
Under the DIPP Business Reform Action Plan 2019, it is made mandatory to file single integrated returns online. The list of laws under which returns had to be filed included boiler Act, 1923. Given that there is no need to file returns under the Boiler Act, 1923, the same has been excluded from the ambit of single integrated return.
Rajasthan Boiler Exemption Notification
The Factories and Boilers Inspection Department, Rajasthan after giving due regard to the material, design and construction of boilers released a notification stating necessary safety compliances, and conditions for the exemption to the boilers which have been installed or which will be installed in future having the safeguard system for protection against over pressure, low water level, flame failure etc. on 11 June, 2019.
