NITI Aayog Releases Draft Battery Swapping Policy for Stakeholder Comments.
Battery swapping is an alternative which involves exchanging discharged batteries for charged ones. Battery Swapping de-links the vehicle and fuel (Battery in this case) and hence reduces the upfront cost of the vehicles. Battery swapping is popularly used for smaller vehicles such as 2 and 3 wheelers which have smaller batteries that are easier to swap compared to other automotive segments wherein the same can be implemented mechanically.
The Goa Boiler (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2022.
As per the amendment under rule 8.2(a)The Chief Inspector shall also keep in his office, “a register in Form A of all boilers registered in the State or the registry of which has been transferred from another State”

Ministry of electronic invites application under Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme from domestic semiconductor chip design firms.
The approved applicants that claim incentives under the scheme will be encouraged to retain their domestic status (i.e., more than 50% of the capital in it is beneficially owned by resident Indian citizens and/ or Indian companies, which are ultimately owned and controlled by resident Indian citizens) for a period of three years after claiming incentives under the scheme.
