Clarification on due date for paying cess under Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Cess Rules 1998

Cess levied shall be paid by an employer, within thirty days of completion of the construction project or within thirty days of the date on which assessment of Cess payable is finalized, whichever is earlier, to the Cess collector. In cases where the duration of the project or construction work exceeds one year, Cess shall be paid within thirty days of completion of one year from the date of commencement of work and every year thereafter at the notified rates on the cost of Construction incurred during the relevant period.

Return of Registration Fee of a Real Estate Project and Real Estate Agent by the Authority, Regulations, 2021.

As per section 4(1) Application for registration of real estate projects under Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 and provision under rule 5(a) of The Goa Real Estate (Regulation and Development) (Registration of Real Estate Projects, Registration of Real Estate agents, Rate of Interest and Disclosure on website Rules, 2017, at the time application of registration, the promoter shall pay a registration fee, calculated on the area of land proposed to be developed at the rate of rupees ten per sq. mt., subject to a minimum of fifty thousand only and a maximum of rupees ten lakhs only.

The amendment is brought under rule 8 which deals with registers to be kept in office, in which the Chief Inspector shall also keep in his office, a register in Form A of all boilers registered in the State or the registry of which has been transferred from another State has been substituted.
