Ministry of Finance notifies general conditions for grant of license for cultivation of opium poppy for production of Poppy Straw.
Cultivators who had cultivated opium poppy for production of Poppy Straw from which no juice is extracted through lancing during the crop year 2021-22 and tendered poppy straw at weighment centre.
Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) (Fourth Amendment) Order, 2022
Every fertilizer testing laboratories specified or notified by the State Government shall be required to obtain the accreditation of the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories within a period of one years from 28th day of September, 2022.
Specifications for import of fertilizers
The order shall be effective for two years from publication.
Summary trials for contravention of Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985
In the case of any conviction in a summary trial, it shall be lawful for the Magistrate to pass a sentence of imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year. There shall be no appeal by a convicted person in any case tried summarily in which the Magistrate passes a sentence of imprisonment not exceeding one month.
Pilot project for end-to-end digitalisation of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) lending

Revised time limit for registration of extant variety & farmers variety of crops
The time limit for all the registration of notified and extant variety of crops is 3 years from the date of approval of authority in the plant variety journal of India. The time limit for registration of farmers variety is 10 years from the date of approval of authority in the plant variety journal of India.

under modified scheme for inviting fresh applications from those project proponents who have acquired land for ethanol project and obtained Environmental Clearance (EC) for enhancement of their existing ethanol distillation capacity or to set up new distillery for producing 1st Generation (1G) ethanol from feed stocks such as cereals (rice, wheat, barley, corn & sorghum), sugarcane (including sugar, sugar syrup, sugarcane juice, Bheavy molasses, C-heavy molasses), sugar beet etc.
