The Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) has published the Air Quality Report for NCR Cities/Towns. This report was generated for May 15, 2024 at 4 PM.

The National Capital Region (NCR) has witnessed a gradual improvement in air quality, the latest Air Quality Index (AQI) readings for various cities and towns have been released for the past 24 hours, indicating a diverse range of air quality conditions.

Delhi

In the heart of the NCR, the capital city of Delhi is experiencing a ‘Poor’ air quality with an AQI of 243, with Prominent Pollutant levels of PM 10.

Haryana

Overall, the air pollution levels in Haryana ranges from Poor to Moderate. Panipat being the only area having satisfactory air quality. The Prominent Pollution ranges from 2.5PM to 10 PM.

Rajasthan

The report has stated that pollution levels for Rajasthan are as follows:

  • Alwar: Alwar reports ‘Satisfactory’ air quality with an AQI of 86, mainly attributed to PM10.
  • Bharatpur: Bharatpur faces ‘Moderate’ air quality with an AQI of 194 having ozone as the prominent pollutant
  • Bhiwadi: Bhiwadi has ‘Poor’ air quality with an AQI of 240

Uttar Pradesh

Furthermore, the air pollution levels in Uttar Pradesh is categorised between Moderate to Very Poor in all 6 districts. The Prominent Pollution ranges from 2.5PM, 10 PM and ozone.
