BIS withdraws standards for methods for determination of components of food

The Bureau of Indian Standards vide notification dated August 5, 2021 has notified the date for Withdrawal of standards for methods for determination of components of food. Following Indian Standards under Bureau of Indian Standards rules, 2018 is withdrawn w.e.f corresponding dates:

  1. Specification for Tur Husk – July 31, 2021
  2. Methods for Detection of Bacteria Responsible for Food Poisoning Part 5 Isolation, Identification and Enumeration of Vibro Cholera and Vibro Parahaemolyticus (First Revision) – July 31, 2021
  3. Microbiology ─ General Guidance for the Detection of Vibrio Parahaemolyticus – July 31, 2021
  4. Animal and Vegetable Fats and Oils ─ Determination of Iodine Value – July 31, 2021
