BIS revises standards for products including packaged drinking water

The Bureau of Indian Standards vide circular dated 9 September, 2021 has amended the Indian standards for following products:

1. Drinking Water
2. Packaged Natural Mineral Water
3. Packaged Drinking Water (Other than Packaged Natural Mineral Water)
4. Zinc Ingot ─ Specification
5. Dissolved Acetylene (GAS)
6. Methods for Sampling of Steel Pipes, Tubes and Fittings
7. Installation and Maintenance of lift without Conventional Machine Room ─ Code of Practice.
8. Brushes, Paint and Varnish-(I) Oval, Ferrule Bound; and (II) Round, Ferrule Bound
9. Bristles ─ Specification
