The BIS has established IS 1971 : 2023 Crop Protection Equipment — Hand- Operated Stirrup-Type Sprayer — Specification (Sixth Revision) on 13th October, 2023.
This standard replaces the IS 1971 : 1996 Crop Protection Equipment — Hand-Operated Stirrup-Type Sprayer — Specification (Fifth Revision). The date of withdrawal for the old standard is 13th April 2024.
