The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has introduced certain standards for Automobile Bodies, Information Technology, (IVD) Medical Device, Textile Dyestuffs. These notifications were published on December 22, 2023.
Some of the revised standards are as follows:
- Finishing of Automobile Bodies —Code of Practice Part 2 Refinishing of Passenger Cars (First Revision)
- Electrical Installation in Ships
- Textiles Dyestuffs
It has also introduced the following standards:
- Information Technology Data Centre Facilities and Infrastructures and Home Electronic Systems (HES) Architecture
- In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) Medical Device — Automatic Slide Staining Instrument and Automated Blood Culture and Microbial Detection System
All of the above standards stand established on December 12, 2023.
