The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has permitted the prior IS standard, IS 17265 : 2022 Textiles — 100 Percent Polyester Spun Grey and White Yarns — Specification (First Revision), to run concurrently until withdrawal. This notification was issued on 12th June, 2023.
It may be recalled that the BIS had established IS 17265 : 2023 Textiles — 100 Percent Polyester Spun Grey and White Yarns — Specification (Second Revision) on 6th June, 2023.
However, the previous standard, i.e., IS 17265 : 2022 Textiles — 100 Percent Polyester Spun Grey and White Yarns — Specification (First Revision) will continue in force concurrently with the current standard. The previous standard will be withdrawn on 6th December, 2023.
