Govt. Of Haryana Issues Latest Stamp Rule Amendments

Court Fee Stamps: No single stamp can exceed Rs. 20,000 in value.

Rajasthan Finance Department Issues New Registration (Amendment) Rules 2024
The Finance Department of Rajasthan on July 10 , 2024, issued the Rajasthan (Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Rajasthan Registration Rules, 1955. As per the new rules – Rajasthan Registration (Amendment) Rules 2024
Rule 181 says that, when a court or authority orders the cancellation or correction of a registered document, they send a copy of the order to the registering office where it was originally registered. The registering officer then makes a note on the document itself, stating who issued the order, the date, and details of the parties involved. They also update their records to reflect these changes in the registration index.

This applies to cases where telecom operators choose to make payments in installments under the Deferred Payment Option as per the Frequency Assignment Letter (FAL) from the Department of Telecommunications.

The CBIC circular confirms that the clarifications provided on June 26, 2024, regarding GST applicability on loan transactions between related parties or from an overseas affiliate to an Indian entity, where payment is made only through interest or discount, will also apply to the Maharashtra Goods and Service Tax (MGST) Act of 2017.
