Amendments Made To Specifications In Respect Of Biostimulants
he amendment states that biostimulant specifications shall include tracer molecules in addition to active ingredients. The order also introduces ‘live micro-organisms excluding biofertilizers and biopesticides’ as an additional category of biostimulants specified under Schedule VI. Additionally, the amendment order also increases the permissible limit of pesticide in biostimulants from 0.01ppm to 1ppm.
BIS Withdraws Several Standards From April 22nd, 2024
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has withdrawn several standards effective from April 22, 2024. This notification was dated May 7, 2024. These standards include Code of Practice for Use of Electron Valves, Basic Environmental Testing Procedures for Electronic and Electrical Items, Specification for Equipment for Environmental Tests for Electronic and Electrical Items, etc.
Tea Board Updates List of NABL Accredited Laboratories Under Integrated Assessment Scheme
The list identifies 42 laboratories across India that meet the Tea Board’s stringent quality standards. The present list has deleted Reliable Analytical Lab, Thane having lab ID no. T-0280 and certificate no. TC-5854 from its listed of accredited labs.
