New Appeal Process and Fees Announced by National Medical Commission

Government Extends Deadline for Filing E-Waste Returns
The MoEF&CC has now extended the deadline for registered entities to file quarterly and annual returns on their e-waste management activities. The last date for filing these reports for the 2023-2024 financial year is extended to June 30, 2024.
Deadline Extended for Waste Tyre Reporting
The original deadline for filing these reports for the 2023-2024 financial year was April 30, 2024. Following industry requests, the MoEF&CC has extended this deadline to June 30, 2024. Companies involved in waste tyre management now have an additional two months to submit their reports.
CERC Notifies Annual Escalation Rates For Bid Evaluation And Payment Under Transmission Service Agreement
These rates will be used for determining payments for existing transmission services and for evaluating bids for new transmission projects based on older bidding documents. These rates are determined following the “Tariff-based Competitive Bidding Guidelines for Transmission Service” and relevant Ministry of Power guidelines.
New Escalation Rates for Power Procurement and Bid Evaluation From Renewable Energy & Thermal Power Projects
The Annual Escalation Rates are applicable for the period from April 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024 for the purpose of payment for Procurement of Power by Distribution Licensees as per the Power Purchase Agreement entered. Additionally, CERC has also notified the Annual Escalation Rates applicable for bids opening from March 31, 2025 for the purpose of bid evaluation.
NPPA Revises Ceiling Price Of Budesonide (A) +Formoterol (B)
Now, by the present corrigendum NPPA has revised the ceiling price for Budesonide (A) +Formoterol (B). The ceiling price has now been fixed as Rs. 6.95/ per dose. This applies to the dosage in the form of Inhalation (DPI) 400mcg(A) +6 mcg (B).
NPPA Fixes Ceiling Price of New Drugs and Scheduled Formulations
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has set maximum prices for certain new drug formulations made by specific companies. Additionally, NPPA has also fixed ceiling prices for certain scheduled formulations. The ceiling prices specified are exclusive of GST and apply to the respective dosage forms, strengths, and units detailed in the entries.
Changes In Approval Process for Public Sector Solar Parks
Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) and Joint Ventures of CPSUs are now exempt from State Government Committee approval for Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and charges. State Government PSU’s DPRs and related charges still require approval from the state’s Department of Power, Energy, or Renewable Energy. The existing process remains unchanged for private developers.
