Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Renewable Energy Tariff) Regulations, 2024

These Regulations shall be called the Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Renewable Energy Tariff) Regulations, 2024. “Auxiliary Energy Consumption”, means the quantum of energy consumed by auxiliary equipment of the Generating Station and transformer losses within the Generating Station, expressed as a percentage of the sum of gross energy generated at the generator terminals of all the Units of the Generating Station: Provided that it shall not include energy consumed for supply of power by the generating Station to its housing colony and other facilities, and for construction works at the generating Station.

Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission issues Public Notice

In exercise of powers conferred and its relevant Sub Sections of Electricity Act, 2003 (the Act), the Commission has made draft regulation as mentioned at (a) & (b) below. The draft regulation is available in the Commission’s website viz. www.apserc.nic.in and can be downloaded. a) Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for determination of Renewable Energy Tariff) Regulations, 2024. (b) Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grid Interactive Distributed Renewable Energy System with Net Metering, Net Billing/Net Feed-In, Gross Metering and Its Related Matters) Regulations, 2024.

Increase in Employees Pension Fund pension

The Government provided a minimum pension of Rs. 1000 per month to the pensioners under the EPS, 1995 by providing budgetary support, which was in addition to the budgetary support of 1.16 per cent of wages provided annually towards EPS to Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). The EPS, 1995 is a “Defined Contribution-Defined Benefit” Social Security Scheme.

Inclusion of unorganized sector women in social security code

The Code on Social Security, 2020 already has provisions inter-alia for providing health and maternity benefits to women workers under unorganised sector. Section 45 and Section 109(1) of the Code on Social Security, 2020 already provides for provision regarding framing of welfare scheme(s) including health and maternity benefits for these workers. It also provides for voluntary coverage of an establishment to enable it to obtain benefits of the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Corporation.
