Ministry of New and Renewable Energy holds meeting to explore pathways for utilization of green hydrogen in transport sector
Industry representatives expressed concerns about challenges related to the higher cost of green hydrogen, fuel cells, and hydrogen storage cylinders. The Union Minister assured the industry that costs will naturally come down, with progress in scaling up and development of indigenous manufacturing. The participants also discussed the use of hydrogen in cars, 3-wheelers and 2-wheelers.
New Wildlife Rules 2024 Introduced For Transactions & Taxidermy
According to these rules, any licensee intending to acquire, receive, or keep specified animals or animal articles, trophies, uncured trophies, or meat derived therefrom must obtain prior permission from the authorized officer. In the realm of taxidermy, licensed taxidermists or manufacturers must issue vouchers to owners returning trophies or animal articles.
NMC Issues New Clarifications On AEBAS Implementation In Medical Colleges
The NMC reiterates that it has not mandated the purchase of attendance machines from any specific vendor. The responsibility for procuring AEBAS compliant machines rests with the respective medical colleges. All users, including those facing issues with fingerprint recognition, are encouraged to utilize the face-based Biometric Attendance System (BAS).
