New Drugs and Clinical Trials (Amendment) Rules, 2022
The amendment has extended the scope of new drugs to include cell or stem cell derived product. Previously the definition of new drug under the New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules only included stem cell derived product.

Owners of Electric Vehicles can now charge them at their residence/offices using their existing electricity connections.

DGFT grants final opportunity for IEC holders to update their IEC details electronically within 31st January 2022.

Ministry of electronic invites application under Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme from domestic semiconductor chip design firms.
The approved applicants that claim incentives under the scheme will be encouraged to retain their domestic status (i.e., more than 50% of the capital in it is beneficially owned by resident Indian citizens and/ or Indian companies, which are ultimately owned and controlled by resident Indian citizens) for a period of three years after claiming incentives under the scheme.
Grant of recognition to CDSL Ventures Limited as an Accreditation Agency under SEBI AIF Regulations
The wholly owned subsidiary of Central Depository Services(India) Limited (CDSL) shall enjoy accreditation for a period of three years. The renewal of the recognition would be subject to satisfactory performance by CVL.
