Any computer resource which directly or indirectly affects the facility of Critical Information Infrastructure is a protected system. Any person who secures access or attempts to secure access to a protected system in contravention of the provisions of this section shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years and shall also be liable to fine.

Supreme Court has fixed the following timelines for beneficiaries to file claims for payment of ex-gratia assistance to families of COVID-19 deceased as announced by National Disaster Management Authority.
Ministry of Finance exempts all customs duty on Cotton imports till 30th September 2022.
At present, there is a 5% basic customs duty (BCD) on cotton imports and 5% Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) on raw cotton. Since the industries has been demanding waiver of duty to lower domestic prices, CBIC has notified the exemption from Customs duty and Agriculture Infrastructure development Cess for import of cotton.

UGC notifies guidelines for Pursuing Two Academic Programmes Simultaneously.
As per the guidelines, students can pursue two full time academic programmes in physical mode provided that in such cases, class timings for one programme do not overlap with the class timings of the other programme. Degree or diploma programmes under Open and Distance Learning (ODL)/Online mode shall be pursued with only such HEIs which are recognized by UGC/Statutory Council/Govt. of India for running such programmes.
