Public hearings in case of project or activity is confined to the territorial jurisdiction of one sub-division, the District Magistrate/District Collector/Deputy Commissioner, as the case may be, may alternatively authorize any officer not below the rank of Sub-Divisional Magistrate to supervise and preside over the entire public hearing process.

For availing assistance under the Scheme, the sugar mills/distilleries/entrepreneurs who have acquired land and obtained environmental clearance for their project would be required to submit an application cum-proposal in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-I) to the Director (S&VO), Directorate of Sugar and Vegetable Oils, Department of Food & Public Distribution (DFPD), Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi during the period of six months w.e.f. 22.04.2022 through online mode only on the https://www.nsws.gov.in to avail benefit under the scheme.
CBDT issues guidelines on the Income Tax Act provisions giving tax exemption to sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) and pension funds.
The guidelines seeks to bring more clarity on aspects like the riders attached to the tax incentive such as a three-year lock in period for the investments, computation of capital gain from transfer of investments, computation of the income from eligible investments on which tax exemption is available, tax audits and quarterly statement of investments.
