SEBI publishes SOP for dispute resolution under the Stock Exchange arbitration mechanism.
The Arbitration Mechanism shall be initiated post exhausting all actions for resolution of complaints including those received through SCORES Portal. The Arbitration reference shall be filed with the Stock Exchange where the initial complaint has been addressed.
Ministry of Finance revises premium rates of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
The premium rates of the schemes have been revised by making it Rs 1.25 per day premium for both schemes that includes revising PMJJBY from Rs 330 to Rs 436 and PMSBY from Rs 12 to Rs 20.
NPPA extends capping of trade margin on oxygen concentrators till 30th June 2022.
NPPA in its earlier notification, capped the price of oxygen concentrator through trade margin rationalisation approach at first point of sale of product, referred as Price to Distributor, as per a prescribed formula by invoking Paragraph 19 of Drugs Prices Control Order (DPCO) – 2013 in wake of increase in demand due to pandemic.
MCA waives late fees for filing various LLP e-forms.
The Ministry has decided to allow LLPs to file various event-based LLP e-Forms, due dates which are falling between 25th February 2022 and 31st May 2022, without paying additional fees up to 30th June 2022.
Income-tax (Sixteenth Amendment) Rules, 2022
The amendment provides that the form and manner of filing appeal to the High Court against a ruling pronounced or order passed by the Board for Advance Rulings by the assessee, or the Assessing Officer on the directions of the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner, shall be the same as provided in the applicable procedure laid down by the jurisdictional High Court for filing an appeal to the High Court.
Vinyl Acetate Monomer (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2022
The Vinyl Acetate Monomer (Quality Control) Order, 2021 shall come into force on the 30th day of November, 2022.
Companies (Compromises, Arrangements and Amalgamations) Amendment Rules, 2022
The amendment provides that in case of a compromise or an arrangement or merger or demerger between an Indian company and a company or body corporate which has been incorporated in a country which shares land border with India, a declaration in Form No. CAA-16 shall be submitted along with the application.
SEBI amends cyber security and cyber resilience framework of KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs).
As per the amendment, KRAs shall identify and classify critical assets based on their sensitivity and criticality for business operations, services and data management. KRAs shall maintain up-to-date inventory of its hardware and systems, software and information assets (internal and external), details of its network resources, connections to its network and data flows
National Council for Teacher Education launches portal to streamline the process of recognition of teacher education programs of HEIs/TEIs.
The portal will streamline the process right from the time of inviting application for courses till the stage of issue of recognition orders including the inspection of institutions. The portal aims to provide an automated robust framework thereby enhancing accountability, transparency and ease of doing business.
Processing of ASBA applications in the Public Issues by market intermediaries and SCSBs has been revised.
Accordingly, all intermediaries / market infrastructure institutions are advised to ensure that appropriate systemic and procedural arrangements are made within three months from the date of issuance of this circular.
