Education Ministry to recognize in-service training received by Agniveers as credits for graduation.

The Union Cabinet on 14th June, 2022 approved an attractive recruitment scheme for Indian youth to serve in the Armed Forces called AGNIPATH and the youth selected under this scheme will be known as Agniveers. AGNIPATH allows patriotic and motivated youth to serve in the Armed Forces for a period of four years. The AGNIPATH scheme has been designed to enable a youthful profile of the Armed Forces.

FSSAI publishes Food Safety and Standards (Alcoholic Beverages) First Amendment Regulations, 2022.

Non-alcoholic counterpart of alcoholic beverage” means non-alcoholic beverage having alcohol content less than or equal to 0.5% alcohol by volume, which shall meet all the requirements of respective alcoholic beverage of origin except the ethyl alcohol content. Additionally, the alcoholic beverage of the origin must undergo the process of fermentation and the produced alcohol is removed thereafter.’

FSSAI notifies compliance with respect to provisions for Display of information for food service establishment’s FSS (Labelling and Display) Regulations 2020 for E-Commerce Food Business operators.

As per sub-regulation 9 of FSS (labelling and display) regulations 2020, the food service establishments having central license or outlets at 10 or more locations shall mention the calorific value against the food items displayed on the menu cards or boards or booklets and shall also provide information such as nutritional information, allergen information, ingredient information etc.
