AICTE clarification on PARAKH project

PARAKH is an ongoing project initiated by AICTE as ‘student Learning Assessment’ (SLA) where student can identify their learning gaps during the course of study by registering on the portal and can take corrective measures timely through self-assessment.

Technical universities to issue audio books for visually impaired students

In order to facilitate the education of differently able students in general and visually impaired students in particular, all technical institutions are requested to prepare the resource material such as audio books and other references of curriculum for visually impaired students and make them available to needy.

Medical Devices (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2022

The amendment has exempted the requirement of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs) or Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) Certificates for import, if the source is from an animal species from a country of origin recognized as having negligible Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy risk in accordance with the recommendations of the World Organization for Animal Health.

RBI issues notification on processing of e-mandates for recurring transactions.

The e-mandate framework prescribed an Additional Factor of Authentication (AFA), inter alia, while processing the first transaction in case of e-mandates / standing instructions on cards, prepaid payment instruments and Unified Payments Interface. For subsequent transactions with transaction values up to ₹5,000/- (AFA limit), prescription of AFA was waived.
