GST applicable to FSSAI services
It is notified to all stakeholders that GST at the prescribed rate would be applicable on all services provided by FSSAI commencing 18th July 2022. The rates for various services such as the issue of Central license, product approval fee, food safety mitra fee, import clearance fee, etc, will be revised accordingly.

Clarification regarding composition of Audit, Nomination & Remuneration and Stakeholders Relationship Committee
If member(s) forming the part of the committee is not Board Member(s), it will be deemed that the composition is not in compliance with the provisions of LODR and accordingly the actions as prescribed shall be initiated from the date of admission of non-Board Member(s) into the committee.

The policy envisions an education system in sync with National Education Policy, 2020 that imparts career opportunities and life skills to all young people. It ensures that the youth have access to sustainable livelihood opportunities that encourages them to stay within and revive the rural economy, generate employment via micro-region-specific strategies, foster entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, and support the informal and emerging gig economy.
University Grants Commission (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programmes) Second Amendment Regulations, 2022
The amendment provides that when foreign or international learners apply for admission through the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, for UGC recognised or entitled online programmes, any national identity with photograph of their country of residence shall also be acceptable for authentication.
Schemes for Strengthening Pharmaceuticals Industry with Focus on MSMEs and Clusters
In order to strengthen the supply chain of Pharmaceuticals industry where MSMEs are an integral part, Govt of India shall be incentivizing the intending MSME units going in for acquiring Schedule M certification or WHO GMP Certification through the sub-scheme Pharmaceuticals Industry Technology Upgradation Assistance Scheme (PTUAS)
Ministry of Communications has extended the last date for submission of application under Design led Manufacturing scheme till 5th August 2022.
The Scheme is open to both MSME and Non-MSME Companies including Domestic and Global Companies. The applications from Design-led manufacturers shall be prioritized over other manufacturers while shortlisting. The Design Led Manufacturing is primarily aimed to support efforts for designing telecom products in India. It will recognize and encourage R&D-driven manufacturing in the country to enhance its contribution to global value chain as envisaged in the National Digital Communication Policy, 2018.
