Revision of Minimum Wages, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), and Categorization of Workers in Various Industries in Karnataka
The Karnataka government issued notification presents comprehensive information about the minimum wages, VDA rates, cost of living allowance, and specific details for different categories of workers across various industries and establishments. It also lays out the regulations related to the payment of VDA and minimum wages, along with the zone-wise categorization and the corresponding rates for different zones.
Conclave on Public Procurement Policy
The National SC-ST Hub was launched by the Prime Minister in the year 2016 with an objective of creating a supportive ecosystem for SC/ST entrepreneurs. For providing handholding support, and augmenting their capacities to effectively participate in public procurement processes many new interventions have been introduced since its inception.
