The Harmonized Guidelines, 2016. shall be inoperative except concerning things done or omitted to be done before such supersession. It applies to all States or Union Territories Administrations.
MSME has issued notification on extending the non-tax benefits to the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises .
The Ministry of MSME, Government of India, has allowed those registered MSMEs to continue to avail of non-tax benefits for three years, instead of one year, in case of an upward graduation in their category and consequent reclassification. Non-tax benefits include benefits of various schemes of the Government, including Public Procurement Policy, Delayed Payments, etc.
NMC notifies guidelines for Implementation of Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) in all medical colleges.
The medical colleges should install the AEBAS devices in sufficient number as per need and each device should be connected with the WIFI/optical fiber internet connection.
IRDAI notifies Insurance cover for new-borns/infants under health insurance policies.
As per Clause (1) of Chapter –II on ‘exclusions not allowed under health insurance policies’ issued vide Master circular on Standardisation in Health insurance Business dated 22.7.2022 wherein it has been mandated that internal congenital diseases, genetic diseases or disorders are not allowed to be incorporated as exclusions in the terms and conditions of the policy contract. The intent of the above provision is to cover newborns with internal congenital birth defects from day one.
IRDAI issues circular on providing cover for Mental Illness under Health Insurance policies.
As per Sec 21(4) of the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017 every insurer shall make provision for medical insurance for treatment of mental illness on the same basis as is available for treatment of physical illness.
FSSAI allows issue of provisional NOC for food consignments
Authorised Officers are directed to carry out a visual inspection and upon satisfaction, shall draw samples and issue Provisional No Objective Certificate (P-NOC) without waiting for the analysis report from the laboratory. The Authorised Officer shall issue the final No Objection Certificate, on receipt of the analysis report from the laboratory, if the product conforms to the FSSAI standards.
NMC permits colleges whose recognition are due to grant admission for new MBBS batch
The colleges whose recognition are due are permitted to admit same number of seats allotted for the academic year 2021-2022.
NMC mandates all medical colleges to ensure uninterrupted live feed from the cameras installed in premises and an aadhar enabled biometric attendance system
All the medical colleges and institutions to upgrade their internet bandwidth to a minimum of 100 mbps to ensure that the NMC gets an uninterrupted live feed from the cameras installed in premises.
IRDAI publishes Guidelines on Establishment and Closure of Liaison Office in India by an Insurance Company registered outside India.
The Principal Officer of LO in India shall act as a Nodal officer and shall be responsible for ensuring compliance of these guidelines and any other directions issued by the Authority from time to time. Name, Address, Contact No. and E-mail Id of the Principal Officer shall be informed to the Authority within 15 days from the date of appointment. Any change in the Principal Officer / change in contact details of Principal Officer shall be informed to the Authority within 15 days from the date of such change.
Ministry of Education extends the last date to submit application for National Means cum Merit Scholarship scheme extended till 31st October, 2022.
Students whose parental income from all sources is not more than Rs. 3,50,000/- per annum are eligible to avail the scholarships. The students must have minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination for appearing in the selection test for award of scholarship (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST students).
